Hi, I'm Steven. I'm a recovering procrastinator.

It took me two years to launch this program. I spent 98% of my time dragging my feet and 2% on actions to make it happen.I do not procrastinate in my day job. But I certainly do on projects that are important to me personally. I drag my feet on career changes, developing a side business, or planning a home remodeling project.I have a lot of ideas, and I am pretty good at breaking them down into actionable steps. But, it is hard for me to get started on the actual work to realize my goal.Once I get going, I will keep going for a long time. Getting started is a struggle. Every. Single. Day.I created this program for people like me.

I have tried every strategy, hack, and tool out there.

Most of them work for a short while, but I cannot sustain them. Fear, uncertainty, and doubt sneak back in.

What does NOT work for me?

  • Make it a priority. Just do it! – The advice of many motivational gurus. Sheer willpower may work on a good day, but it does not consistently work for me.

  • Set deadlines for yourself – Real deadlines work great. Artificial deadlines that I make up for myself don’t work for me. My brain knows it is not real.

  • Reserve timeslots in your calendar – Works fine initially until other important things creep in to take over, like checking Instagram.

  • Publicly declare your goals – Declaring my goals to a bunch of strangers does nothing for me since I know they do not care about my goals or results.

  • Have a spouse/partner / close friend hold me accountable – Mixed results. I felt too much pressure to perform with some, which paralyzed me. Others were too nice and accommodating when I needed some tough love.

  • Group coaching/mastermind program – These are great for advice on specific problems. But they are too infrequent, too expensive, and require a large time investment. They don’t help me to make progress on a daily basis.

  • Using Apps or AI coaches – This does not work for me since I know there is no human being on the other side who cares about my goals or results.
